2016 grape-picking

After a humid spring asking to be very attentive, a hot and dry summer with glorious weather in September that allowed a good ripeness despite of late grape-picking…
It began the 20th of September with the Chardonnay for our Crémant de Bourgogne, and from 21st to 25th for the Saint-Amour.
It took place in perfect conditions, cool nights, sunny days, hot without being blazing… and very ripe grapes with beautiful degree !

It’s now in vats for long maceration, see you at 2017 fall to discover this new vintage !

Parker notation in Beaujolais

Neal Martin tasted our 2015 vintage

He is the successor of Robert Parker, and came to taste in Beaujolais last june.
He gave the honorable mention of 88/100 to our Saint-Amour 2015 ! This wine is still young, so it will need a few more years to fully bloom.
